Why a boost was required

When recruiting for nurses, the Irish Private Hospital faced competition on every front – from the HSE and other private medical facilities here in Ireland to hospitals in the UK, UAE, Australia and Canada. Its recruitment drive simply wasn’t driving the numbers!


The boost

We looked for something that would get to the very heart of what makes a nurse tick, that would appeal to his or her caring side and allow us to present the Irish Private Hospital as a place that understands the ‘person inside the nurse’. The theme we developed, ‘I love nursing’, gave us the opportunity to create empathy with potential candidates. Loving what they do is the reason many of them chose a career in nursing. It also allowed us to direct those interested to a memorable and aptly named dynamic ULR, And the results? Let’s just say the dramatic boost in candidates was just what the doctor ordered!
